48 For Floyd
In 2020, Justin Shields and Tyler decided to do a weekend running challenge to raise money after the death of George Floyd. That one weekend of running turned into the Venice Run Club and its nonprofit: 48 For Change. We've since raised over $143k, donated over 2,000lbs of clothes, and have created a powerful community.
This annual event in May of each year that uses running to combat racial and social issues and help marginalized communities. Every year, we choose an organization with an outstanding mission and coexisting values to donate funds to.
